AI WEI FOOは、4月にDMOARTSで開催されるオムニバス展に作品出品するほか、５月にシンガポールで開催予定の「UNKNOW ASIAプレゼンテーション」へのゲスト出演、7月開催の「ART OSAKA」での作品出品。「UNKNOWN ASIA 2016」へのゲストアーティスト参加も決定しています。AIWEI FOO currently residing in Singapore, she was “discovered” by our member during UNKNOWN ASIA promotion time on last year.
“The Beaming Girl” is self-portrait of enhanced beaming eyes with stylish wearing started in 2011 when she was residing in Helsinki, this series of on-going photo documentation in different cities and different seasons attract people in Singapore and oversea.
Aiwei Foo, her territories is not only on photograph; she multihull performs for fashion, video work, and styling, etc. Aiwei’s acting as tool of self-empowerment and disguise makes us to feel unseen potential of Asian young art, therefore she is appointed as image character of UNKNOWN ASIA 2016.
Her appointment is as hot statement from administrative office to seek for collecting high-sensitively art from whole Asian region to compete with her artwork.
AIWEI FOO’s art work scheduled to exhibit at omnibus exhibition of UNKNOWN ASIA 2015 in Apr at DMO ART Osaka Umeda, and she will be invited as guest appearance for “UNKNOWN ASIA Presentation” in May at Singapore, furthermore, exhibition in July at “Art Osaka” and participating “UNKNOWN ASIA 2016” as guest artist.
