1986年7月7日生まれ。
アクリルガッシュとボタンやレース、お菓子のパッケージなど
様々な素材で描かれる大きな耳に奔放に手足の伸びた女の子たちや動物。
その極彩色の世界観は、女の子なら一度は憧れたであろうワンダーランド。
ユニクロクリエイティブアワード2007で「草間彌生賞」を受賞。
「canvas@sony2012」でグランプリを獲得。
東京•銀座ソニービルの壁面アートウォールを手がけるなど多方面で活躍。
現在は国内外のアートフェアにも参加し、多くのファンを生み出している。 chiaki kohara was born in Osaka, 1986. It was a start when she studied illustration at Osaka Communication of Art (OCA) to become an artist. While she was at the school, she energized working as a painter and received multiple awards. Particularly, the prize winning from Yayoi Kusama at UNIQLO T-shirt contest drew attention from art industry. Yayoi Kusama praised her “There is a brightness of the youth in your art work”. The word from Kusama pushed her to carry on working as a painter and she started her carrier as a painter in earnest after graduating OCA. She creates her own wonderland in her work and the fantasy attracts people. As of now, she actively participates in lot of art fairs and exhibitions both domestically and internationally. 2010
■ イラストレーションチョイス 宇野亜喜良審査 入選。
2011
■ JR大阪三越伊勢丹オープニングイベントとして、DMO ARTSで個展「mammy」を開催。
百貨店初となる本格的なライヴペイントを行う。
■ 韓国「DAEGU ART FAIR」出展。
