He actively works to raise awareness of Noh not merely as a traditional Japanese art form, but as a theatrical form enjoyed worldwide, and to further expand the possibilities of Noh, he collaborates with other Japanese classical music, contemporary theater, music, and video. In 2017, he established the Nishinomiya Noh Theater, and is dedicated to promoting not only Noh but also other Japanese classical performing arts.

  1968年大阪生まれ。多摩美術大学でプロダクトデザインを、英国ブライトン大学でインテリア・アーキテクチャを専攻し、それぞれ学士号を取得。 2000年より香港を拠点に活動し、2007年に「Studio ARRT」を設立。香港、中国、日本において、インテリアデザイン、アートインスタレーション、イベントの企画・運営などに携わってきた。近年では、様々な分野のデザイナーや工芸の作り手などを支援するコミュニティ・プラットフォーム「United Voice」を立ち上げ、日本のクリエイティブなデザインや工芸文化を伝える活動を展開。 2021年からは、大阪の株式会社アルテ・アバンにてクリエイティブ・ディレクターに就任。日本でのデザイン活動を拡大しつつ、アジアのクリエイター同士をつなぐ取り組みにも尽力している。 Born in Osaka, Japan in 1968. He graduated from the (BA) Product Design at Tama Art University, Tokyo. and (BA) Interior Architecture at Brighton University, UK. He has been living in Hong Kong since 2000. Studio ARRT was established in 2007. He has been worked in interior design, art installation, event planning and management in Hong Kong, China and Japan. In recent years, he has established a community platform / United Voice which supports different discipline of designers, handcraft societies so on. It is engaged in activities to convey Japanese creative design and handcraft’s culture. From 2021, he became a Creative Director at Arte Avan Co., Ltd. in Osaka. He expanded his design activities in Japan, and works on connecting Asian creators.
