Natasha Lubis (b. Jakarta, 1989) juxtaposes traditional use of painting with found images which
she sees represent notions of female desire in urban society. Her work contemplates on how
female desire is being represented in the global circulation of images through the lens of media
and popular culture. Elements of fantasy and phantasmagoria form an integral part within
