R. Yuki Agriardi (b. 1984) is a Bandung-based artist graduated from ITB and Central Saint Martins, UK. His works range from drawings, paintings, and object installations by working independently, collaborating with museums, art galleries, partnerships, and clients in media or companies such as London Bookfair, Audi, Uniqlo and Honda Japan.
Agriardi has long developed an interest in the relationship between humans and nature. Titling his latest work series: "Future Habitat of Happiness", he concocted a speculative space where he envisioned inhabitants that could flourish and coexist with others. He investigates the relationship and communication between the inhabitants, memories, wellbeing and scenes from the habitat. He utilises oil pastel on his recent drawing series for its immediate expression and directness as there is no barrier between his fingers with this medium. Recently Pear Press X Gramedia Pustaka Utama published his first book: "The Lyrics of Self-Acceptance."
