三重県伊勢市出身、大阪市在住。
グラフィックデザイナー・イラストレーター、SHIORI。
ものづくりが好きで何でも自ら作る父、バイクや車、ヒップホップが好きな兄、服や雑貨が好きな母と姉の影響を受けて育ちました。自身もバンドのライブに通うなど、音楽は身近な楽しみのひとつ。そうした好きなものが、ほんのりストリートの空気を感じるポップな作風にもにじんでいます。
珈琲専門店やアパレルショップでの勤務、デザイナーとしての経験を経て、自分自身の表現を模索するなかで、2024年に「たこのOCTY（オクティ）」が生まれました。
OCTYは海での暮らしに馴染めず、地上へやってきたおっくうなたこの男の子。人間の暮らしを真似するうちに少しずつ人間らしい姿になり、不器用ながらも、自分なりの心地よい毎日を見つけていきます。
地上でも、うまくいかないことはある。それでも「音楽と酒があれば、だいたいOK！」。そんなOCTYを通して、日々の小さな楽しみや何気ない日常を描いています。
2025年よりクリエイターイベントへの出展を開始。2026年からは展示やアートイベントへ活動の幅を広げ、作品の展示とオリジナルグッズの制作・販売を行っています。
SHIORI is a graphic designer and illustrator from Ise, Mie Prefecture, based in Osaka, Japan.
She grew up with a father who loved making things himself, a brother who loved motorcycles, cars, and hip-hop, and a mother and sister who enjoyed clothing and everyday accessories. Music has also been a source of enjoyment in her own life, including going to see bands play live. These influences subtly find their way into her playful, pop-inspired work, with a hint of street culture.
After working in a coffee shop and clothing stores, and gaining experience as a designer, she began exploring her own creative expression. This led to the creation of her original character, “Tako no OCTY,” in 2024.
OCTY is a slightly clumsy, easily daunted octopus boy who never quite felt at home in the sea and came to live on land. As he imitates human daily life, he gradually takes on a more human-like appearance, finding his own small comforts along the way.
Things do not always go smoothly on land, either. Still, “As long as there’s music and a drink, he’s doing just fine.” Through OCTY, SHIORI depicts small everyday pleasures and ordinary moments.
She began participating in creator events in 2025 and expanded into exhibitions and art events in 2026. Her practice includes exhibiting illustrations and creating and selling original merchandise. - 略歴・受賞Career / Prize
