-
My name is Nguyen Ngoc Linh, born on January 29, 1988, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
After graduating from high school at eighteen, I worked and drew, worked and drew again, repeating the same routine until 2015, when I had the opportunity to move to France. At that time, I was fascinated by drawing the human figure, and I believed I needed to study anatomy. During three years in Strasbourg, I immersed myself obsessively in human anatomy. After returning to Vietnam, I continued studying bones and human dissection at the Hanoi Institute of Anatomy, and have taught artistic anatomy ever since.
I began with a strong desire to become an artist. I threw myself into learning, and the more I studied, the closer I came to teaching. Now, I am returning to where I started: becoming the artist I once dreamed of being.
My works are created directly in ink, without preliminary sketches or plans. Every figure and character emerges from a mixture of emotions, memories, experiences, and imagination. - 略歴・受賞Career / Prize
