Shikhambri is the founder of TANBAN, an Indian hand block print shop dedicated to preserving the traditional craft of block printing. She works directly with families of block printers and carvers, ensuring fair support and sustainable livelihoods.
For two years, she has conducted hand block printing workshops in Japan, sharing this heritage craft with new audiences and fostering cultural exchange.
In 2025, TANBAN launched its own line of original products designed with sustainability in mind, combining traditional techniques with eco-friendly practices. Through TANBAN, Shikhambri promotes ethical craftsmanship, supports artisans, and helps keep Indian hand block printing alive and appreciated worldwide. - 略歴・受賞Career / Prize
