SHAN.MURE (杉木日) is a Malaysian artist, born and raised in Malaysia.
Painting has been a long and gentle journey of exploration. From black-and-white line drawings to oil pastel paintings, I continue to explore different ways of creating and expressing what lies within.
My works are reflections of the inner selves we carry—the self that longs for freedom, seeks stillness, or wonders about the future. I am drawn to the quiet moments often overlooked in everyday life: a ray of light, a pause, a fleeting feeling that is difficult to put into words. These subtle fragments become the soul of my paintings.
Each artwork is a conversation with my inner self, capturing an emotional moment and a fragment of life.
I hope my paintings invite you to pause and reconnect with yourself—to listen to the voice within, and embrace the part of yourself that may have been quietly left behind.
