Career / Prize
DISPOSABLES consists of photographs taken using disposables cameras over the past decade. Recognizing synchronicity in the snapshot method of the cameras and Japan's appreciation for the fleeting nature of life, Bailey has curated the images into a narrative on Japanese national identity. DISPOSABLES was published as a book in 2019 and debuted as ana exhibition at KG+, the satellite event of the Kyotographie international photo fair in 2020.
